This year, C@R experts will dive into statewide policy developments, including the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission review process, the Governor’s Task Force on Early Childhood Education and Care, and community-informed priorities for the 90th Texas Legislature beginning in January 2027. Participants will also explore the latest research on Child Care Deserts, including C@R’s newest “chronic desert” measure, as well as local investments in child care quality.

Join CHILDREN AT RISK’S Early Education team on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM (CST) to provide local insight from Lubbock and help shape the future of children in Texas.
