EDUCATION NEWS

  • Texas Tech will receive a $12 million grant (from the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund) to build a cleanroom for nanotechnology research supporting projects such as solid-state lasers and high-power electronics on campus in Lubbock. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Lubbock County Commissioner’s Court will vote Tuesday on a resolution supporting the Expo Center Local Government Corporation’s new design for the county expo center at a cost of $375,000.
