- ➤ The ABC Pro Rodeo will celebrate 83 years of cowboy heritage at the Mallet Event Center (2320 South US-385, Levelland) from April 2 to 4. Performances on April 2 and 3 will begin at 7:30 p.m. while April 4 will offer shows at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. KKAM

- ➤ Lubbock Feeders feedlot closed today after 70 years of operation—ending a long chapter in local business that shaped the city's scents. The closure is expected to affect feed suppliers, veterinarians and transport services while residents wonder if new, fresher aromas will emerge. KFYO

- ➤ Lubbock ISD has announced two new leadership hires and recognized over 100 students for excellence (music, athletics and career education).
