Lubbock holds the Viva Aztlán Festival, the longest-running folklorico dance competition in Texas.

The event celebrates local culture and brings community members together to enjoy vibrant dance performances.

Lubbock’s re-routed 4th on Broadway parade, a highlight of one of the largest Independence Day celebrations, will start near Avenue M and Broadway and head east to MLK Jr. Boulevard (passing the South Plains Fairgrounds for easy parking).

Frenship ISD will host Camp-Us Adventure on Thursday, March 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at all nine elementary schools (Bennett, Crestview, Legacy, North Ridge, Oak Ridge, Ridgewood, Upland Heights, Westwind, Willow Bend) to welcome new students and share campus info.
