A structure fire on March 23rd on 98th Street produced a large plume of black smoke that led to road closures from 98th to 96th along Avenue P—Lubbock Fire Rescue continues to monitor the situation.

Today, Barricades Unlimited will close 114th Street between University Avenue and 700 feet east for Lubbock Underground Utilities to install a water line—this project is scheduled to finish on April 7.

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes—drivers should plan for extra travel time.
