Lubbock financial advisor Joshua Allen and his firm Ferrum Capital are facing class action lawsuits that allege they ran a Ponzi scheme by raising about $50 million from investors and lending those funds to Collins Asset Group—whose previous program settled for $15 million in Georgia. One suit claims the current scheme uses identical language to that earlier program, while the defendants deny every allegation and Mike Cox is no longer named after filing for bankruptcy.
