- ➤ A Seminole woman, Christina Krahn Loeppky, 32, died when her Jeep Wrangler rear-ended a car stopped to turn left on FM 181 in Gaines County Thursday morning+ she was not wearing a seatbelt and the car’s driver was treated for minor injuries while a pickup driver was unharmed. FOX34
- ➤ Lubbock PD warned residents that ongoing lane changes on Loop 88 have led to dangerous wrong-way driving incidents—drivers are urged to stay alert and follow new traffic signs to prevent fatal accidents. KKAM

- ➤ On Saturday morning, a long line formed at Woody’s Liquor Store at 82nd and Slide for a special release of Masked Rider bourbon that sold out in about 30 minutes at $160 each with a limit of one bottle per customer.
