- ➤ Lubbock Premiere Cinemas will host Selena Week from April 10 to 16 by screening the Selena biopic and offering themed meal combos; tickets cost $5, with a reduced price for kids and vets. The event honors Selena Quintanilla’s legacy and offers a chance for fans to come together. KFYO

- ➤ The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission approved a new rule requiring proof of residency to buy fishing and hunting licenses; the rule will take effect on Aug. 1 and residents may use a valid driver license while nonresidents must provide extra identification. KKAM
- ➤ The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission approved a proof-of-residency rule for fishing and hunting licenses that takes effect Aug. 1.
