- ➤ Lubbock will host the 20th Annual Golf for Kids’ Sake with a kickoff concert on April 25th at 6 p.m. at SERVPRO’s headquarters at 7477 County Road 7000—100% of the proceeds will help Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock. A tournament will follow on May 2nd at Lakeridge Country Club—offering individual and group play to support at-risk children in our community. KFYO

- ➤ A shooting at Little Caesars on the 2500 block of Auburn Street in Lubbock left one person with moderate injuries—recorded at 9:42 p.m. today. KLBK
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A second child with measles died late Saturday night as the hospital confirmed the school-aged patient (not vaccinated) died while being treated for complications. Health officials say the outbreak has infected hundreds in West Texas and urge everyone to update their vaccinations. FOX34
- ➤ A spokesperson with UMC Health System in Lubbock confirmed that a second school-aged child died from complications of measles after receiving treatment while hospitalized, noting the child was not vaccinated. More than 570 people have been sickened in West Texas and experts expect the outbreak to continue if vaccination rates do not improve. KLBK
