  • Wolfforth Fire and EMS will use a new 48-hour on, 96-hour off schedule — a change designed to boost crew rest and training. Fire Chief Lance Barrett said response times will remain steady, ensuring community service remains strong.  KCBD
  • On Wednesday, Tim Green announced his campaign for City Council District 4 at CityBank Events Center. The former firefighter and current owner of Tim Green Homes said a business-minded leader is needed for a stronger government — and he plans to bring that focus to a growing Lubbock.  KCBD
