- ➤ CASA of the South Plains has launched its 20th annual fundraising event Casas for CASA, which runs until May 30. Community members can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes including a custom-built playhouse, storage building, enclosed trailer, or a $3,500 MasterCard gift card as the nonprofit aims to raise $85,000 to support its volunteer programs. - ➤ Voice of Hope (a local nonprofit) is hosting its 17th annual sexual violence awareness walk called Step into Hope today at Safety City in Clapp Park (registration opens at 12 p.m. and the walk begins at 1 p.m.) to support survivors with resources.
