- ➤ Lubbock teen Jacen Phillips honors his late twin by donating LEGOs to kids at Covenant Children’s Hospital when he turns 16 on May 31—he plans to deliver 275 sets collected from friends instead of receiving presents. KCBD
- ➤ Survivors of sexual violence spoke at the annual Take Back the Night event held on April 30th at the Student Union Building Ballroom, sharing how they cope with pain and rebuild trust. Guest speaker Brittany Piper said healing takes time—campus groups and local support teams helped as the event ended with a group photo. The Daily Toreader
- ➤ At South Plains College, local law enforcement and community members gathered Wednesday to honor officers who died in the line of duty.
