- ➤ CASA of the South Plains launched its 20th annual Casas for CASA fundraiser, offering seven custom-built playhouses, a storage building, an enclosed trailer + a $3,500 gift card to help support children in foster care. Tickets cost $5 and the raffle runs through May 30 with the drawing at 5:30 p.m. KKAM

- ➤ South Plains Electric Cooperative is offering $500 teacher mini-grants to fund classroom projects for the 2025–2026 school year — the program is open to educators from Lubbock ISD and other districts. Literacy Lubbock is excited to announce our Spring Book Raffle—a blooming opportunity to win amazing book-themed prizes and support adult literacy programs right here on the South Plains!
