- ➤ Lubbock earned its film, music, digital media and tourism-friendly certifications from the State of Texas today—making it one of only two cities to do so—and local leaders say the designations will boost local job opportunities and visitor growth. FOX34
- ➤ Lubbock letter carriers are set to collect food donations today as part of the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive—donations from local post offices will be delivered to the Salvation Army to help restock its nearly empty food pantry. FOX34
