- ➤ Lubbock car enthusiasts attended the Reggie Clark Memorial Car Show on Saturday morning at Southcrest Baptist Church where live music, food, and classic vehicles were on display. Awards for best classic truck, best muscle car and best motorcycle were given and all funds raised will support Southcrest FFA’s Reggie Clark Memorial Grant for student tools and equipment. FOX34
- ➤ South Plains College culinary arts student Shiretta Williams baked 66 mini-cakes for the first 66 guests at an upcoming Mother’s Day weekend event in Lubbock to honor her late mother—who would have turned 66—and she said the gathering will help those who lost their mothers heal while she plans to hold similar events as she works toward opening her own bakery.
