Lubbock's newest fire station (the Eric Hill Memorial Station) will have a grand opening tomorrow at 10 a.m. near 142nd and Indiana; city and fire department leaders will host a ribbon cutting and guided tour.

Texas lawmakers held a rare Saturday session to honor fallen service members at the Fallen Heroes Memorial Ceremony.
