- ➤ Kory Jolly, a 40-year-old from Lubbock, was charged on Tuesday with violating a protective order and threatening a judge, a woman, and her attorney+ he now faces bonds totaling $253,000 while he remains at the Lubbock County Detention Center. KLBK

- ➤ Lubbock Police Academy recruits practiced firing in the dark on the gun range as part of a final defensive tactics exam that combined their classroom, gym, and traffic stop training—aimed at preparing them for real-life night shifts. After 18 weeks, the class has decreased in number from 16 to 10 recruits. FOX34
- ➤ City of Lubbock will upgrade 12 walking trails in local parks over the next nine months as Community Engagement and Development Coordinator Ruth Perkins said the project will widen trails & adjust slopes for better accessibility.
