- ➤ Lubbock Animal Services offered free dog adoptions and microchipping this weekend to ease shelter crowding—320 dogs are housed at the facility, nearly reaching its full capacity. KCBD
- ➤ The South Plains SPCA is hosting adoption events this week to find foster homes and adopters for its 76 dogs and 230 cats plus it urgently needs donations to help cover monthly vet bills averaging between $15,000 and $25,000.
