- ➤ Telemundo hosted a Back to School Bash on Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall with games, prizes, and free backpacks for local families. - ➤ South Plains Mall in Lubbock is hosting a Give Back for Back-to-School drive to collect uniforms and shoes for students until September 6th — the mall partners with The FOUND Mission to help ensure students have the supplies they need. - ➤ Lubbock golfers played at the Texas 635 Golf Tournament on Saturday to raise money for the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
