Wolfforth Police confirmed that 66-year-old Jennifer Treadwell, reported missing Saturday at 10:30 p.m., was found dead on Monday—after a near two-day search that involved dive team efforts at several playa lakes and her husband reported her confusion and health issues.

After a fight led to 18-year-old Carlos Cruz being shot in the leg at 3:45 a.m. on Sunday near the dam on east Canyon Lakes Dr, Lubbock police arrested more than half a dozen teenagers after a car chase ended near 29th St. and Walnut Ave—officers recovered six guns from the vehicle.

A 37-year-old Lubbock man was convicted by a federal jury for threatening Secret Service agents and their families online — he will be sentenced on November 6 and could face up to 15 years in federal prison.
