ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Police are investigating an accident early Friday morning on Slaton Highway near CR 3100 in southeast Lubbock County—emergency crews responded around 4 a.m. and blocked east and westbound traffic for about an hour, so drivers should avoid the area. FOX34
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Lubbock 20-year-old pleaded guilty Friday morning for her role in the 2022 murder of Robert Stewart, whose body was found in his car parked in an alley near 46th Street and Boston Ave—she received a 20-year prison sentence and must serve half her term before being eligible for parole. FOX34
