- ➤ Today, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce begins its search for a new president and CEO to spearhead several modern projects and expand local business connections. - ➤ Lubbock father Adam Canales Jr. began his manslaughter trial on Monday after being charged with fatally dosing his 2‐month‐old daughter Athena with allergy medication meant for adults—25‐year‐old Sara Mills is also charged and a jury panel has been selected while both have been out on bond since April.
