Lubbock runners raised over $20,000 at the inaugural High Point Hustle 5K + fun run at High Point Village this morning to support community members with intellectual disabilities.
The event surpassed its fundraising goal while showcasing local fitness and inclusion.

NewsChannel 11 broadcast a 6 p.m. newscast last Friday from the field of American flags at Huneke Park to mark the 25th anniversary of Sept.
11. The report featured a local photographer who was near the World Trade Center and experts discussing how history lessons have changed.
Over 1,200 Mustangs and classic cars left today from Lubbock for a 345-mile Route 66 drive, with stops at Cadillac Ranch, Buc-ee’s, and a meal at Midpoint Cafe in Adrian (the highway’s midpoint).
Route 66 will celebrate its centennial on Nov. 11.
