SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Texas Tech Athletics Director Kirby Hocutt said in a Zoom conference Thursday that the Big 12 will increase penalties for throwing objects on the field during football games. The new policy requires that a first violation gets a warning and a second violation gets a 15-yard penalty and a $100,000 fine (after a $25,000 fine was given last weekend for tossed tortillas).
