  • Local fans are joining the Fearless Mustache movement to show support for Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez at Jones AT&T Stadium this Saturday, as mustaches are handed out from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m.—and ESPN College GameDay will cover the event. This community initiative invites residents to wear, draw, or stick on a mustache to add spirit to the game against BYU.  KKAM

  • Country music legend George Strait announced his concert at Jones AT&T Stadium on April 25, 2026 — he will perform with Miranda Lambert and Hudson Westbrook.   • Texas Tech Athletics Director Kirby Hocutt announced that George Strait will perform at Jones AT&T Stadium on April 25, 2026 with Miranda Lambert and Hudson Westbrook. Pre-sale tickets go live on Nov. 20 and general sales begin at 10 a.m. on Nov. 21 — fans in Lubbock should act fast.  KCBD
