- ➤ Lubbock police responded to a bicycle crash near 34th and I-27 on Wednesday morning just after 8 a.m. that left one person seriously injured as officers worked to clear the area. KCBD

- ➤ LBK Uncorked Wine Festival will take place on April 5 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the American Windmill Museum at 1701 Canyon Lake Drive (offering local wines, food and live music on three stages). KKAM

- ➤ Lubbock financial advisor Joshua Allen and his firm Ferrum Capital are facing class action lawsuits that allege they ran a Ponzi scheme by raising about $50 million from investors and lending those funds to Collins Asset Group—whose previous program settled for $15 million in Georgia. One suit claims the current scheme uses identical language to that earlier program, while the defendants deny every allegation and Mike Cox is no longer named after filing for bankruptcy. KCBD
