On Saturday afternoon, South Plains Electric Cooperative reported scattered power outages in Lubbock at 1:30 p.m.—crews worked quickly and safely to restore power in affected areas.

An update on the Shallowater outage was provided at 12:45 p.m.—teams remain in the field to bring power back for all customers.
